Precautionary Measures - Mrsa Treatment The other important precautionary measures that a person affected with mrsa infection should take to ensure that it does not spread amongst different people is that the person concerned should wash his hand at frequent intervals with the help of soap and with the help of water which is warm in nature. When the person concerned is in the process of changing his bandages he should not touch the wound that is infected and touch the other materials that are infectious in nature. When a person is affected with the mrsa bacterium it is absolutely necessary that he should not share his personal things with other people at any cost. He should not share his towels with other people, he should not share his washcloth with other people, he should not share his razor with other people, he should not share his clothing with other people. It is also absolutely necessary for the person concerned who is affected with mrsa bacterium that he washes all his clothes with water that is hot and uses a appropriate laundry detergent.
